Gatekeeper privacy notice
Gatekeeper is the operator for Pulse accounts, security, billing, and telemetry.
Who this notice is from
Gatekeeper determines the purpose of processing for Pulse staff accounts, security, billing, and product telemetry. Pulse is the product name. This notice does not cover survey responses collected for a Client; those are named on the Survey collection notice.
What we process and why
When you create or use a Pulse login we process account details (name, email, hashed password, membership and role), security data (session, two-factor enrolment, rate-limit keys), billing records for the trial or paid subscription, and telemetry used to operate and measure the hosted service. We use this information to provide Pulse, keep accounts secure, bill for the service, and run the platform.
Who may receive the information
Gatekeeper staff who operate the platform may access it. Hosting and authentication run on our infrastructure providers. Login, signup, and password recovery may use abuse-prevention checks. Survey feedback for a Client is not processed under this notice.
Foreign processing
Some operators and hosts may process information outside South Africa. We use them to run Pulse (accounts, security, hosting, and telemetry), not to sell personal information.
Your rights
You may ask for access to or correction of your account information, and you may object to processing where the law allows. You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. Use privacy@gatekeeper.technology for privacy requests about Gatekeeper-determined processing.
